#JustKeepBlooming

It seems like months ago, but it’s just two weeks since I came back from my holidays back home, from the land of the wild Czech Republic. I’ve just finished moving and sorting out the pictures that I managed to take in between being incredibly lazy and trying to see all my entire family, as well as my friends. All in the space of 4 days! And yeah, we also managed to go to a music festival. No time to rest on those crazy holidays back home!

But there were rare moments when I actually found a minute to lounge and catch some rays. That was when I took the stand out pictures from my holiday album. These pictures are from my parents garden that I like to call Cloud-Cuckoo Land.

Oasis have come up with a great idea to emphasise the importance of
pure beauty, which inspired me to write this post. I’ll try to highlight why I do adore plants and flowers. We should never
forget that it’s not all about make up and pretty clothes and that we
should be grateful for the little things around us. Oasis actually does
have a competition on their Pinterest blog, so check it out, the hashtag
is #JustKeepBlooming! Also, have a look at my pin board I’ve created for this purpose #JustKeepBlooming by Mode Lily!

I love nature and I have millions of plants, herbs and vegetables at home. I dream of my own big garden and I already grow so many herbs that I will plant there; once I actually have one. I also have tons of gardening books where I keep notes of plants and flowers I’m going to plant in this garden of mine. Well, a girl can dream, right. On a plus note, gardening is incredibly relaxing and what is going to be more relaxing then chilling in my own garden on a summer evening with a chilled glass of a white wine?!

Mother nature is a fashion designer in a sense and there is no wonder fashion designers turn to her for inspiration! I love prints and are there any better prints than the flowers? Oh hell no! Check out the Oasis collection Just Keep Blooming (you have my permission to drool all over it, I know I did). Or what about the latest fashion trend of tulle skirts? They do look like a flowers in a bloom, don’t they!

I’ve picked the most gorgeous pictures of flowers in bloom from my parents garden. Please do drool over them as well, they are mixture of hard work, love and a lot of patience.

Took this one on my phone, so not the best quality but I found the little frog so cute, I’m pretty sure she was posing for me

Your pictures are great summery shots and clearly show a lot of hard work and care has gone into them. Some really interesting looking blooms there. I think it's so great to pick up our cameras and enjoy the world of photography over and above documenting outfits and so on for our blogs. I am constantly behind my lens. My post I put up this morning is even about grabbing your camera on your lunch break and photographing your surroundings. Whether it's your back garden or the big city I swear it is good for the soul!
Anyway, just wanted to say your pictures look great and to say I understand why you felt the urge to capture these stunning flowers. Also a nice link made back to your main topic of fashion.

Thank you Hannah, you're absolutely right, it's always so nice to go out there and start documenting. Great for memories too! I'll try to do a bit more but I have to learn how to use it first! Also, what a great idea to take pictures on my lunch! I'll have to try it, Leeds is beautiful, so plenty of chances there! xx
