I adore the days or even just those few hours when I can free myself from the four walls of my living room and wonder out. It’s therapeutic, and a welcome change from the computer screen every now and again. Just the perfect idyllic afternoon when feel I’m out of sight.
Do you have that one place on earth that you love coming back to? Perhaps a park 5 minutes away from your house that you walk your dog at or perhaps a little stream that is in the forest that you love listening to flow? For me, it’s discovering the beauty of the Yorkshire Scuplture park. Why do I hear you asking? Just click on the link and read my post 😉
If I could just bottle the happiness I feel when I’m out there, I would. It’s the smell of pure air, (even though you get the whiff of the sheep poo every now and then). This place represents a mixture of two of my favourite things, nature and art. When I’m out there, wondering amongst the nature and art, I realise we are only a drop in the ocean and it’s when I’m out there that I realise how insignificant my problems are. I can entirely loose myself there.
Do you remember my outfit post from last week? The one where I’m escaping the city and mixing up leisure with sophistication? I decided to take a different approach on the edgy outfit and prove that fashion is not everything while personal style matters the most. I wanted to show you that by changing one piece of your outfit, you can create an entirely new look.
My outfit haven’t changed, only the blazer did. When I spotted this oversized cardigan in Zara earlier in August, I knew it’s the one. It was way to early to think of the cold days ahead nevertheless from the moment my eyes laid on this oversized statement piece, I knew that it would be a perfect transition piece for the fall. New love affair was on the horizon.
The perfect time to utilise this piece finally arrived and with summer gone and sun only occasionally showing its true colours, I was in a mood to elevate my appellation for a simplistic autumnal style. Finishing my outfit by adding the long cardi, I ended up with a nonchalant, boutique-style spin on ordinary knitwear fashion.
Oversized Cardigan: Zara // Jeans: Zara // Shirt: Zara // Sunglasses: Ray Ban
With an outfit like that, I’m ready to embrace the cooler months that are upon us. After all, pumpkin spice lattes are already in shops!
