So What Do I Have in Store for You in 2016…

Don’t worry about what you didn’t get done or achieved in 2015, instead, look forward to what 2016 has in store for you!

I feel like we’re opening the door on everything that’s new and exciting around the corner as 2015 transforms into 2016. It’s taken me few day to clear out my head, organise my thoughts and decide what I want to do with my blog. Shall I take it to the next level? What is the next level? Panic settles in and I stare at the blank paper in front of me. Deep breath and here we go!

I believe good things are coming my way in 2016…If I work hard for them!

Project Me Time

I started this ME TIME project last year and then somehow abandoned it. As I strongly believe in finding time for yourselves, I will expand on this in 2016. I have big plans for this and it will involve cooperating with a lot of bloggers. So keep your eyes peeled on this one, ladies and gents!

Content.

This is something I want to stay faithful to. You notice a lot of great fashion bloggers posting only outfits with minimal wording. But you see, this is what I love about blogs. The content. The way into bloggers souls, sneak a peek into their lives, getting to know each other. I want to get to know you and I want you to get to know me.

Blog photography.

“No, really? It’s like we’ve never heard that one before.” My inner sarcastic bitch snarls at me.

I shut her up by closing the door right in front of her nose (and I can’t resist to stick my tong out at her. There I showed you!

Yes, I want to improve on my images, this will be ongoing hard process but I can do it. I have a good camera, the pressure is now one me!

Track stats and PLAN!

This is a big one for me and one I still haven’t 100% decided if I’m going to stick with it. Shall I track my stats? I know the rough numbers but this one sounds like a loot of hard work. And when I say a lot, to me it’s tons. I’m just not track-my-stats-kind-of-girl. But I promise to myself I’ll try! Cringe.

I also ordered my first Blogger Journal, from a talented Coco Chic Blog, we will see if that helps 🙂

DIY/Crafts/Recipes

…and lifestyle posts. Believe it or not, when I first played with the idea of having my own blog, this was meant to be the core but then I wasn’t in a position to fulfil this dream – thank you dingy dark rented yellow-wall-houses. We’re hoping to buy our own nest, our little sanctuary, so you should expect more of this kind.

Dream big.

I’m also planning on dreaming big in 2016…and work hard! That goes hand in hand. On the other hand, I’m a person who is really hard on herself. My husband always says to me how many wonderful things I’ve already achieved but I tend to see the things I haven’t done. This is my big limitation. I decided to grab a big jar and fill it with all my achievements in 2016…

…so every time I feel down, I can open it and read how wonderful I’m…(wink wink). Now all I have to do is style some jar up.

So, that’s about as far as I got. What about you? What are your resolutions for 2016, blogging or personal? Perhaps I helped you decide on next steps.

My blog has been such a fantastic and eventful part of my 2015, I wanted to thank all my lovely readers, new and returning, thank you for sticking with me, you’re truly part of me, my blogging life. Thank you for coming along on this journey with me and spending time with me on Instagram & Twitter, you’re my everyday inspiration!

So wonderful day to you and do not be so tough on myself. Rest you already know, learn to love yourself and everything you’ve already achieved!

So here’s to a splendid New Year!

I love DIY/craft posts and this too was something I wanted to focus on in my blog but I've found that beauty posts are so much more exciting to write about (or maybe it is just my lack of time to complete and document a DIY)
