It’s back to business as usual today with this classic look I wore to a client meeting few weeks back.  These two fashion items go so well together, perfect pieces to look professional, while keeping cool and elegant. I’m a big sucker to mix conservative office style and adding sass of creative office style. Unluckily we don’t always have to dress up smart (unless we have a client meeting) but that just doesn’t always stop me.

This whole outfit is so comfy and yet polished, don’t you think? For me, it’s very essential to feel comfortable during a meeting as there are other more important things you have to worry about. This whole outfit is also a proof that there is no need to shop designer clothes to be elegant and chic. You can make every outfit look completely effortless (and affordable!) with pieces from inexpensive high street stores.

Silk pussy bow blouse, to me, is a lovely addition to any stylish office girl wardrobe. Its glossy finish leaves me with a sense of elegance and this gorgeous piece continues to reign supreme in my closet.

A high-waisted trouser will flatter anyone, and pairing it with heels, will make your legs look longer! You just can’t go wrong, ladies! Speaking of wide leg pants (one of my favourite year-round workwear staples) I got these from Mango sale (£11 only!).

Rock that powerful suit with a twist

As we’re quite lucky at the minute and weather is quite warm, there is no need to pair it with a jacket. The simplicity is priceless. And when the weather gets cooler, you can wear it with a sleeveless jacket or just with a simple black blazer, options are limitless with this style. This whole workwear outfit is perfect and will work great if you want to go from work to drinks, to dinner with girlfriends without skipping a
beat.

I’ve been very eager to up my style game at work – I’m wanting to create that capsule collection of workwear must-haves. Just to make my life a hell lot of easier on mornings – seriously there is no need to have one room full of clothes – and this pussy bow silky shirt and wide-legged trousers are a very good start.

A good selection of quality shirts is essential as stylish shirts are staple items every working girl should have in her closet. I’ve recently came across Hawes and Curtis and I was absolutely bewildered by their selection. Seriously, they do sell some lovely work-ready ensembles. I also got a white cotton shirt (and I’ll be sharing a post soon) and I’ve fallen in love with this brand – the fit of their blouses is immaculate (and there I was thinking I’ll never be able to say anything like this) and the quality is worth the money. Quality has became a must for me recently.

I’ll certainly be back as they have quite a wide range to choose from and I’m not going to lie, it took me a while to pick from the great selection. I’ve decided I no longer want to buy fad fashion pieces that I no longer like after a month or two and that will fall apart after few wears. This work style is something that you can easily re-create for your next big meeting. What do you think, do you like my style and how would you wear it?

You look fantastic, love these Hawes & Curtis blouses – I have one in the creme colour and i love it, will certainly be looking to get some in other colours.
